Dennis E. Mondroski, 65, Mosinee, died Sunday, September 4, 2016, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
He was born on May 28, 1951, the son of Edward and the late Josephine (Onopa). He married Carol Glenetske on Sept. 12, 1970 in Wausau. She survives.
Dennis spent 27+ years working for Cherne Contracting Corp., retiring as Vice President of Field Operations. He was a caring son, a devoted husband and father, and a loyal friend. He loved spending time at his camp in the Upper Peninsula with his family. He was an avid hunter and sport fisherman who cherished his annual fishing trip in Alaska with friends. Dennis enjoyed Fox News and was a dedicated Republican. His family was most important to him, especially his seven grandchildren. Dennis and Carol would have celebrated 46 years of marriage on September 12th. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Survivors, besides his wife, Carol and his father, Edward, Mosinee; his children, Joe (Chris) Mondroski, Grand Rapids, MI, Becky (Jamie) Pemble, Kronenwetter, and Nicky (Michael Ring) Mondroski, Madison; six grandchildren, Ella and Jolie Mondroski, Chase and Drake Pemble, and Evelyn and William Ringdroski; and a sister Marcia (Joanne Pallen) Mondroski, Decatur, GA. He is preceded in death by a grandson, Finnegan Ringdroski and a sister, Julie Mondroski.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, where at 7 p.m. there will be a Eulogy service.
