Hedwig “Heddy” Napiwocki, 85, Mosinee, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family, Friday, April 8, 2016, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born Dec. 17, 1930, in the town of Dewey, the daughter of the late John Sr. and Martha (Szczesny) Dulak. She married Albin Napiwocki on May 20, 1952, at St. Mary Church, Torun. He survives.
Heddy worked various jobs while raising their children. Most recently she worked at the Red Owl store and Maple Ridge Farms. She loved nature and found extreme happiness in God’s creations, especially flowers, birds and animals that would venture into their yard. She enjoyed gardening, polka music and dancing. Heddy loved to cook and feed everyone. She was famous for her Polish cooking, especially pierogis and always had fresh baked cookies to share. Nothing made her happier than getting together with family. She took pride in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, teaching them the love, joy and compassion that she herself shared with everyone she met.
