Jerry A. Nechuta, 58, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family and friends, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services.
He was born June 17, 1959, the son of Evelyn (Ivaska) and the late John Nechuta. He married Joyce Rucinski on Feb. 9, 1980 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. She Survives.
Jerry was a Mosinee High School graduate and worked as a machinist for 39 years, retiring in Dec. 2016. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, Hunting, fishing, and working on the farm. He was very active in family activities, always roasting a pig for parties or gatherings, and loved spending time with the Grandchildren. Jerry also enjoyed working on vehicles and you could find him driving his Mustang and his ’64 Pick-up!
Survivors, besides his wife Joyce, include his three sons, Christopher John Nechuta, Thomas Daniel (Trudy) Nechuta, and Andrew Allen (Mari Jo) Nechuta; five grandchildren, Hannah, Zachery, Isabel, Joel and Macie Mae; two sisters, Mary (Jeffery) Wistrom, and Joyce (Bruce) Hintz; two brothers, John (Bonita) Nechuta, and James (Mary) Nechuta; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a brother, Jeffery Nechuta.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Burial will be in Mosinee Cemetery. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. until time of services, all at the church. Online condolences can be made at www.bestefh.com
