Nancy A. Nechuta, 75, Mosinee, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.
She was born Nov. 27, 1942, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Ervin and Dorothy
(Heislen) Cisler and then stepmother, Leona Cisler. She married William Nechuta on Jan. 19, 1963, at St. John Lutheran Church, Mosinee. He survives.
Nancy got enjoyment from the little things in life. She was active in church and was a member of the Circle of Joy, and belonged to the Red Hat Society. She would take the kids fishing and hunting, and when the kids were little they would take a camping trip every summer to Bond Falls. Nancy and Bill took many trips, including Royal Caribbean Cruise and the Canadian Rockies, but her favorite was to Branson, Missouri due to her love of country music. Nancy had many hobbies including sewing, painted ceramics, arranging flowers and coloring books. She loved feeding the deer and the birds, she was an animal lover with a special place in her heart for dogs. Nancy’s beautiful Angel collection was a great pride in her life, one that her family continues to cherish today.
Survivors, besides her husband, William, include a son, Gary (Gayle) Nechuta; a daughter, Lesa (Pete Sirianni) Nechuta; five grandchildren, Saige (Megan) Sirianni, Jonah (Emily Tucker) Sirianni, Ciara Sirianni, Brittney Nechuta and Meagan Nechuta; a brother, Ervin (Carla) Cisler Jr., a sister, Pamela (Gene) Thanig; a brother-in-law, John Krueger; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Dorothy, her stepmom, Leona, a granddaughter, Shauna Hackbarth, and a sister, Patricia Krueger.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at St. John Lutheran Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Marilyn Lange will officiate. Burial will be in Mosinee Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. Saturday until time of services at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.bestefh.com
