Leroy George Olson

LeRoy G. Olson, 83, of Weston died on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at Cedar Ridge Elder Service.
He was born in Elderon, WI on February 23, 1933 to the late Gilman and Dorothy (Boardman) Olson.
One of LeRoy’s favorite pastimes was to work on cars, working with his hands he found enjoyment in building model airplanes and trains. He was a former salesman and deliveryman for various companies in the Wausau area.
Survivors, include; his ex-wife, Virginia; seven children, Gary (Sally) Olson, Mosinee, Ken (Colleen) Olson, Glidden, Linda (Louis) Kinjerski, Schofield, Larry Olson, Wausau, Jeff (Linda) Olson, Jinny Frisby, Schofield, Sherrie Olson, Marathon; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-granchildren; and two sisters Donna Kurth-Marano, Riverside, CA, Mary Olson-Sinz, Garner, NC. LeRoy was preceded in death by; one son, Jerry Olson; and one brother, Edward Olson.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 23, 2017, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. The Rev. Marilyn Lange will officiate. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter.
