Paul W. Luebbe, 49, Mosinee, passed away suddenly, on Sunday, March 19, 2023.
He was born on May 16, 1973, in Wausau, WI, son of Norbert and Donna (Hanson) Luebbe. He graduated from Mosinee High School where he had met his High School sweetheart and married Katie Hilman on June 7, 1997, at St. Paul Catholic Church, she survives.
After high school Paul began working at Norlen Inc. for 30 years as a machinist. Most recently had begun employment at Wausau Tile in maintenance. He was an avid fisherman, most of all, walleye fishing. Enjoyed hunting in the fall, playing softball in the Mosinee High School alumni tournament, and shooting trap.
Survivors include his wife, Katie Luebbe; his parents, Norbert (Donna) Luebbe; his children, Jacie (Austin) Kolodziej, Erica Luebbe, and Rebecca Luebbe; his siblings, Lorie Block, Steve Luebbe, Mark (April) Luebbe; his grandchildren, Owen and Sadie Kolodziej; along with 14 nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Aaron Becker will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be on Monday, March 27, at St. Paul Catholic Church, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., where at 7:00 p.m. a prayer service will be held, in honor of Paul, please wear your favorite fishing attire for the Monday night visitation. Visitation will continue Tuesday at the church, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s name can be directed to the family, where at a later date they will distribute them to a charity close to Paul’s heart.
