Roxann passed away on September 30, 2021, surrounded by family at Marshfield Medical Center in Weston. Roxann was born in Chicago, ILL, on February 18, 1961, where she grew up and worked in the restaurant industry. She moved to Wisconsin 18 years ago, to be with family. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. The neighborhood kids called her “grandma” and she got the nickname “Uncle Rocky” from her nieces and nephews. She was truly a kid at heart, she enjoyed a good laugh and fun with the kids. She enjoyed her craft, she could make anything out of popsicle sticks and gum wrapper. She made picture frames from play doh or clay. It didn’t matter what it was, she would make a project from any item. Roxann will be missed by many.
She is survived by; four sisters, Deborah Unger, Maryland Pendley, Sandy Pendley and Michelle Gonzalez; two daughters, Dawn (Rosie) Pendley and Jessica Pendley; a grandson, Bobby Welch; and two great grandbabies, Khalil and Khaliah, as well as lots of nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and grandparents, she is preceded in death by; her two daughters, Angi Pendley and Rosemary Pendley; one sister, Anna Pendley; two brothers, Jimmy Pendley and Dennis Moses.
A funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 7th, 2021, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Meuret will officiate.
