On Sunday December 15th, 2024, Peter Scott Dehne, age 61, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully.
Peter was born on November 23rd, 1963, to Jack and Barbara Dehne in Racine, Wisconsin. In 1987 Peter graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelors in Production & Operations Management.
Peter first married Susan Vanness in October of 1989 and together they raised two daughters, Jacquelyn Marie and Abigail Catherine.
In December of 2018 on Cinnamon Bay in St. John, USVI Peter married the love of his life and soulmate, Cheryl. Peter and Cheryl loved spending time together with their family and friends, at the beach and working on home improvements. Together they enjoyed a beautiful life with a love that could move mountains.
Peter loved spending time with his daughters, grandchildren and lifelong friends who became brothers. He had a passion for sports and loved watching the Packers, Badgers and Golf. Peter had a love for music and enjoyed spending time by a fire finding new songs. You could often find Peter outside by the water enjoying the sunshine with a craft beer in hand.
Peter was a driven, devoted and hardworking man with a 24-year career as the Vice President of Global Operations for Nelson-Miller (formerly Wilson-Hurd Mfg Company) and was about to retire to enjoy his next chapter of life.
Peter is survived by his Daughters Jacquelyn Mucha (Lance), Abigail Dehne (Semi Sago), his Stepsons Ethan and Colby Schmitt, his Grandchildren Lily, Lucy and Sebastian Mucha, his Mother Barbara Dehne, Sister Jill Anderson (Joel, Colin, Christian, Channing, Samual), Godmother Donna Bartz, his Cousins Mark (Nancy) and Jack (Kathy) Hartzell, Brandon, Benjamin, Sarah, Jacob, Seth, Heather, Page, his “Brothers from another Mother” Doug (Shelley), Steve (Sherri), Brad (Renee), Marques (Een), Danny (Cyndi), Steve (Lisa), Dave (Christy), his Brother-in-Law James “Radar” Olszewski (Michelle, Sarah, Leigh, Ariana), Sister-in-Law Julie Lemke (Lorne and Matt). He was preceded in death by his Soulmate Cheryl and Father Jack.
A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Weston. Pastor Lance Hoelscher will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m., until the time of service, all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.
