Luella A. Phillip, 96, Mosinee, died Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Acorn Hills in Mosinee.
She was born June 12, 1921, the daughter of the late Earl and Anna (Draves) Wegner. She married Henry Phillip on Nov. 8, 1941 in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on June 22, 1979.
Lou was a devoted grandmother and very proud of all her grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy (Michael) Wineland, Rolesville, NC; a daughter-in-law, Kristi Phillip, Urbana, OH; four grandchildren, Brett (Jamie) Wineland, Rolesville, NC, Katy Wineland, Charlotte, NC, Jason (Julene) Phillip, Chicago, ILL, and Audrey (Jeff) South, Columbus, OH; three great-grandchildren, Chase Wineland, and Dexter and Elliott Phillip; and a niece, Deb (Tony) Zelholfer, Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Phillip on May 24, 2017, two brothers, Roy and Wally and a sister, Cecelia.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Oshkosh. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Thursday, until time of services, all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.
