Agnes Ryskiewicz, 90, Kronenwetter, passed away Friday, Dec. 25, 2020, peacefully at home (not related to COVID).
She was born Sept. 1, 1930, in Wausau, the daughter of the late Charles and Sophia (Wilkowski) Dallman. On. Oct. 25, 1952, she married Edmund Ryskiewicz at St. Paul Catholic Church in Mosinee. After the marriage, the couple settled into farming in Peplin. Edmund preceded her in death on June 27, 2013.
Her life revolved around her family and friends. Agnes loved playing cards, games, putting her puzzles together, and baking. She looked forward to spring for the return of the sandhill cranes and her hummingbirds. Some of her other greatest joys were watching all the many animals that raided her birdfeeders…the deer, the squirrels, and the many, many birds. And, of course, watching the antics of the horses next door.
Survivors include her children, Stephen (Cathy) Ryskiewicz and Susan (Rodney) Greisinger, both of Minocqua, Anthony (Terri) Ryskiewicz and Kathy (Bill) Champine, both of Kronenwetter, and Janet (Stuart) Seeger, Parkville, Missouri; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Ryskiewicz, her brother, Chester Dallman, her sister, Barbara Osika, and a great-grandchild.
Private family services will be held. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.bestefh.com.
The family would like to thank the South Area Fire and Emergency Response, the Kronenwetter EMT’s and First Responders for all their kindness and assistance.
