William “Willie” D. Simonis, 49, town of Guenther, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016.
He was born on Nov. 21, 1966, to Barbara (Stachura) and the late Billie Simonis. He Married Diane Dean on Aug. 30, 1996, in Mosinee. She survives.
He was an active man that loved to hunt, fish, go camping and go to garage sales. He also enjoyed scrapping and fixing cars. Spending time with his family and his grandchildren was his greatest enjoyment.
Besides his wife, Diane, and mother, Barb, he is survived by his two children, Andrew (Peggy) Dean and Natalie (Jake) Krzanowski; six grandchildren, Cody Dahms, Cora and Hailey Dean, Wyatt, Gage, and Sadie Krzanowski; six brothers, Andrew (Christel) Simonis, Paul (Carrie) Simonis, Brian (Lisa) Simonis, Mark (Jamie) Simonis, Bruce (Sandra) Simonis, and Tim (Cheryl) Simonis; five sisters, Candee (Mike) Rust, Diane (Duane) Kohnhorst, Karen (Gary) Weis, Rose (Joe) Wawrzyniec, Linda Kesy, Marilyn (Gary) Carriveau; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Billie; grandparents, Jake and Stella Stachura and Lewis and Verna Simonis; Courtney Simonis, Nicholas Simonis, and Lester Kesy.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knowlton. The Rev. James Arthur will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis cemetery, Knowlton. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. Visitation will be again from 9 a.m. Friday until time of services at the church.
