Conrad J. Sitko, 78, Mosinee, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, where he resided, the home of his niece, Julie Sitko-Ganser.
He was born on March 13, 1939, the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Kluz) Sitko. He married Susan Schidel on Feb. 14, 1976 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Schofield. She preceded him in death on Feb. 5, 2014.
Survivors include a son, Joseph Sitko; two brothers, Lawrence Sitko and Daniel (Pam) Sitko; a sister, Elizabeth Sitko, all of Mosinee; four nieces, Susan (Darrin) Walkowski, Wausau, Sharon (Rodney) Baumann, Julie (Andrew) Ganser and Jamie Sitko (Jeremy Dahl), all of Mosinee; four great nephews and a great niece, Brandon and Bryce Walkowski, Jace Baumann, Derryck Gee and Danyelle (Jared) Baumann; and two step-great nieces, Brittany and Danielle Ganser. He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Betty Sitko.
A memorial gathering of family and friends will be on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. Online condolences may be made at www.bestefh.com
