Elizabeth J. “Betty” “Elsie” Sitko, 71, of Mosinee, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2016 with her family at her side at Stoney River Assisted Living, Weston under the care of Ministry Hospice Services.

She was born October 18, 1944 in Stevens Point WI, the only child to Edward and Rose (Kawleski) Stepaniak. She married Lawrence Sitko on June 20, 1964 at St Peter's Catholic Church in Stevens Point. He survives.

She was a dedicated secretary who took pride in her work and she respected her co-workers who were also her friends.

Elizabeth was a devout Catholic. She was quiet and had a kind and considerate heart, and she always saw the good in others. She enjoyed her time with family and friends, playing cards, watching game shows, reading, attending craft shows, shopping trips, car cruises, and church picnics. Perogi, Pączki and Czarnina were on her list of favorite foods. Her grandsons were her pride and joy and she always made sure she attended their sporting and musical events.
