Billy E. Small, 94, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017, in Grand Rapids, Minn.
He was born Nov. 20, 1922, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Andrew and Mary (Kuczera) Small. He married Dorothy Miller on July 18, 1992 in Mosinee. She preceded him in death on Dec. 10, 2016.
Billy was a proud Army Veteran who enjoyed hunting, working in the woods, gambling and gardening. He was also an avid Fisherman.
Survivors include a step-daughter, Linda (Steve) Reichenberger, Cotton, MN; a daughter-in-law, Pam Small, Mosinee; seven Grandchildren; nine Great-Grandchildren; two nephews; and special friends, Walter Rozella and Anthony Kopchinski. He is preceded in death by a son, Ron Small, and a step-daughter, Carol Kopchinski.
Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2017, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Jon Hadler will officiate. Burial will be in Mosinee Cemetery, Mosinee. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of services, all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.
