Dale P. Spatz, 86, passed away at the Aspirus Hospice House, Wausau on Dec. 21, 2021. He was born on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1935. The son of the late Isadore and Clara (Raleigh) Spatz. Dale married Virginia Toboyek and they later divorced. He then married Delores (Dee) Eberle on Aug. 5, 1985. Delores proceeded him in death on May 21, 2020.
Dale served in the Army Reserves and was stationed at Fort Lewis in Tacoma, Washington. He made his career at Mosinee Paper Corporation as a Machine Superintendent of #1 and #2 paper machines upon retirement.
Dale was very proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed time spent with them. He also took pride in his yard and flower beds along with watching the hummingbirds, cardinals, and orioles. Christmas was a special time for Dale and Delores as they enjoyed decorating their house inside and outside.
Survivors include his daughter, Kay (Scott) Dunst; his grandchildren, Dan (Jamie) Dunst, Andrew Dunst and Jenny Dunst; and his great grandchildren, Josh, Tyler and Jackson Dunst. He was proceeded in death by his daughter, Keri; brothers, Cecil and Neil; and sisters, Eunice, Leona, Eileen and Rosemary
Services will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Meuret will officiate. Burial will be at Mosinee Cemetery, Mosinee.
