Stanley G. Springer, 75, Mosinee, passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Wausau.
He was born March 16, 1941 in Mosinee, the son of Lillian (Krzanowski) Springer, Mosinee and the late George Springer.
Stanley was baptized at St. Paul Catholic, Mosinee and grew up attending Catholic school in Illinois. He enrolled and served our country in the United States Army. Stanley was an engineer and worked for Illinois Tool Works Company. He enjoyed Hunting, fishing, and traveling for business.
Survivors besides his Mother, Lillian, include a sister, Marcella Burt, Mosinee; two nieces, Dawn (Bill) Swanson and Natalie (Jerry) Koch, both of Mosinee; a nephew, Robert (Angela) Porter, La Crosse; two great-nephews and two great- nieces. He is preceded in death by a brother, Richard J. Springer; a nephew, Ronald Houswerth; and a brother-in-law, Brian Burt.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Thursday until time of services all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.
