Arlowene “Tudy” Stahlecker, 77, 1337 Cty. Hwy. KK, Mosinee, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at her home.
Tudy was born September 21, 1939 in Devils Lake, North Dakota, the daughter of the late Leo and Florence (Barret) Fenner. She married Jerry Stahlecker on June 8, 1958 in Crary, ND. She now joins him in the Lord’s embrace.
She worked at Kraft Cheese in Wausau for over 30 years and made many close friends that she continued to keep in touch with to this day. Tudy was never happier than when she was working hard, preferably alongside her family members, and valuing the fruits of the shared labor. She was very active at church, and regularly helped with cleaning and other activities. She enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren, often visiting with homemade cookies, and was enthusiastically awaiting the arrival of twin great-grandchildren, expected in June.
Survivors include a son, Jon (Carolyn Desnoyer) Stahlecker, Mosinee; a daughter, Brenda (Max) Campbell, Burkburnett, Texas; seven grandchildren, Ben (Joelle), Luke (Belinda), Dustin, Nikki, Dee-Dee, Kelly and Shay; three great-granddaughters Natashia, Isabella and Madelyn; and a great-grandson, Dominic. She is also survived by her sisters Carol Fenner, Judy (Dan) Striefel, Mary Lou McLean, and brothers Gary (Anna) Fenner, and Kenny (Arlita) Fenner. Preceding Tudy in death were her husband Jerry Stahlecker and her brother Jim Fenner.
Tudy’s carrot cakes were unrivaled, and she touched the lives of countless people with her quick-witted humor, her boundless energy and zest for life. She was a bright light here on earth, tremendously loved by those around her and she will be greatly missed.
