Deborah Stewart

August 23, 1961 — May 2, 2016

Deborah D. Stewart, 54, passed away on May 2, 2016, in Wausau. Deborah was born Aug. 23, 1961 to Hillis and JoAnn (Peterson) Stewart in Eugene, Oregon.

As her Children, Jolin, Hillis, and Merlin will tell you, Debi was a mom and always tried her best to make things right for everyone. Her smile and spirit would light up a room or even the sky sometimes. She made sure every day that Jolin, Hillis, and Merlin knew how much they were loved. She didn't stop there either; she had a house full a grandchildren including Her grandson Calvin whom she loved more than life. She also had step - grandchildren, but Debi wouldn't want them labeled that, she wanted lots of grandkids so she just accepted them all as Hers and each one of them had their own special bond.

Debi was a loving caring, free-spirit that brought happiness everywhere she went. She loved spending time with the family, spicing up and decorating the house, taking walks or adventures as she called them, taking road trips with her lifelong love Jim, or just hanging out with her Daughter, family, and friends. She brought amazing, wonderful, energy that filled everyone with joy anytime she was around. Debi had an essence and a presence that made her a fixture in so many people’s lives; she truly will be missed and forever loved.

Debi is survived by her Daughter Jolin Stewart(Joseph Narlock) of Weston, Son Hillis Hanson (Kim Doering) of Stevens Point , Son Merlin Hanson (Brianna Manderfield ) of Weston, Her lifelong love James Hanson of Merril, Her sweet loving Sister Cheryl Stewart (Jaris, Axel, Kyle, & Kevin) of Oregon, Her lifelong friends & sisters Pam Hanson(Carl Lasalla and Children Josh, Steve, Charlie, Nicole, and Melisa (who preceded Debi in passing) of Wausau, Janie Cowart (Dale Webb, and children Jerry , Kenny, Victoria, Christina) of Merril, Brother Timothy Hanson (Mike) of Wausau, Brother Mike Hanson of Merrill, grandchildren Calvin Stewart-Zeunges , Ava Mais, Emily Narlock, Adam "Adam Ant" Narlock, Alyssa Narlock, Breanna Narlock, and Sadie Narlock, family friend Brandon Hallberg of Wausau, Marilyn Moser, and many, many more family and friends.
