Daniel J. Sulzer, 61, Mosinee, died on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Park View Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He was born August 16, 1954, the son of the late Alfred and Ann (Hafenbreadl) Sulzer.
Daniel married Bette Schneeberger on July 30, 1977 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cassel. She preceded him in death September 27, 2013.
Daniel and Bette operated a ginseng business in Mosinee for 23 years. Daniel was also a truck driver for over 40 years, where he was known for his impeccable safety record. He worked for Crestline as well as owning and operating Sulzer Trucking until 2011. For the last several years, he took pride in hauling oversize loads for Merrill Iron and Steel.
His favorite pastime was being with family and friends, always joking around and making those around him smile. Generous with his time, Daniel would always be willing to help a friend in need. During the summer, he and Bette would enjoy working on landscaping projects around the house, or go up north to spend some time on the lake. In the fall he liked to go hunting with family and friends. Recently he bought a motorcycle and would ride on the weekends.
Survivors include a son, Nicholas Sulzer, Burnsville, Minn; two brothers, Chuck (Kaycee Marks) Sulzer, Wisconsin Rapids, and Ron Sulzer, Weston; four sisters, Janet Pecher, Marshfield, Karen (Edward) Klein, Chicago, Ill, Lynn (Adam) Senoraske, Tomahawk, Sue (Bill) Heiting, Marshfield. He was preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Harrison, and brother in law, Urban Pecher.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April. 23, 2016, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. Family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until 11a.m. at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee.
