Gerald F. Trudell, 86, Mosinee, died Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at Pride TLC, Weston.
He was born Dec. 21, 1933, in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, the son of the late David and Emma (Francois) Trudell, Sr. He married Patricia Beckendorf on July 2, 1955, in Abrams, Wisconsin. Patricia passed on Jan. 13, 2000.
After an honorable discharge from the Navy, Jerry continued his career as a data processing manager at both Kimberly Clark in Neenah and Mosinee Paper Corporation. He worked as an office supply sales rep for several years before returning to the mill as a finishing room operator. During his retirement, he loved working alongside his longtime friend, Carl Koss, at Indianhead Golf Course and Maple Ridge Farms. Jerry’s passions were his wife of 45 years, Pat, his family, golf, and traveling.
Survivors include his four children, Cynthia (Rick) Olson, Joseph (Luanne) Trudell, Debra (Rick Steffen) Cramer, all of Mosinee, and Susan (Gary) Ridderbusch, Eagle River; eight grandchildren, Eric (Carrie), Adam (Brianna), Nicole (Andrew), Leah (Matt), Joseph (Gina), Seth (Sammy), Taylor and Carly; seven great-grandchildren, Braxtyn, Brylee, Bryce, Azaylah, Liam, Thea and Lucas; a sister, Doreen Senn, Green Bay; and two sisters-in-law, Jackie Trudell, Appleton, and Ruth Trudell, Oconto Falls. He was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Jr., Patrick and Wayne, and a sister, Mary Jane.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 18,2020, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Meuret will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee.The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. Saturday until time of services at the church.
