Marcella (Sally) V. Vesely, 73, of Mosinee, was called to her heavenly home on Feb 8, 2017 while at Renaissance Assisted Living in Weston.
Sally was born June 21, 1943 in Stratford to the late Michael F. and Lillian A. Jozwiak. She married Harold Vesely, the love of her life, on October 17, 1964 and celebrated 50 years of marriage with him. He preceded her in death on January 3, 2015 and at last they have been reunited.
To all who knew her, Sally was a hard-working, strong willed, deeply faithful woman. She often worked more than one job at a time to provide for her family while caring for Harold through multiple surgeries and illnesses. She was most proud of her two sons, Jason and Calvin, and after finally retiring in 2006, lived each day to spoil her grandsons and watch as many of their baseballs games as she could. She loved the Brewers and old Western movies, and was always up for good polka music. Sally and her infectious laugh will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her children: Jason Vesely, Mosinee; Calvin (Paula) Vesely, Marathon, and her grandchildren Derek and Darrin Vesely, Marathon. She is furthered survived by her sister Patricia (Dennis) Maguire, her sister-in-law Elizabeth Jozwiak and a bother-in-law Donald Kraus, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, her parents, an infant sister, Theresa Jozwiak, her sisters Lorretta Schwantes, Margaret Kraus, and Joan Sersch, brother Edward Jozwiak, and brothers-in-law Gordon Schwantes and Chuck Sersch.
Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. William Grevatch will officiate. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee.
