Carolee Zywicki, 84, Abbotsford, died Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Abbotsford Health Care Center, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on April 4, 1938, in the Town of Knowlton, to the late Paul and Marth (Kujawski) Krieske. She married George Zywicki on May 5, 1956, at St. Paul Catholic Church, he proceeded her in death in 2019.
Carolee was a stay-at-home wife and mother. She worked prior to getting married at the “IGA” store in town. For many years her time was occupied out on her parents farm doing various deeds. From pushing hay on planks to canning vegetables. In later years until her first stroke her and George and family enjoyed many trips to the casinos.
Her survivors include; two sons, Gary Zywicki, Abbostford, and Mark (Vicki) Zywicki, Mosinee; a daughter, Gail (Harry) Luxford, Champlin, MN; four grandchildren, Phillip Smith, Michelle (Kyle) Sanders, Kelsey (Dillion) Jacob, and Kristy (fiancé Billy) Koprowski; eight great grandchildren, Harper and Everett Sanders, Connor and Jemma Jacob, Sage, Sierra, Willow and Rosslyn Koprowski.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister Bernice Fochs and brother Norman Krieske.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 11:00 am, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. The Rev. Marion Talaga will officiate. Burial will take place at Mosinee Cemetery.
